How is radiant electric heating?
Radiant electric heating with halogen lamps is a suitable and clean system for heating glass patios, outdoor areas and terraces and isolated areas within very large buildings (warehouses, etc.). Radiant electric heating has the advantage of being very easy to use and regulate, and allows it to be used only for a few hours or all day if necessary. It is particularly economical in very tall buildings, where heating with hot air would be impossible or very difficult since hot air tends to rise and stay at the top.
To get an idea of the power required to cover a terrace, you have to consider approximately 250 to 300 watts per m2, depending on the outside temperatures in the area.
